How to Plan and Book your Cruise.

We try to make the planning and booking as simple as possible but each cruise is individually planned, so in the first instance please phone us on 07815 436 583 or email us at info@isabellarivercruises.co.uk and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements. Please be assured that there will be no hard sell, just friendly and we hope helpful advice.

A quick checklist

 

Do you have fixed dates?
 
Do you want to explore a specific area?
 
How will you be travelling to and from the boat?
 
Do you need to return to the starting point or would you prefer a linear trip?
 
Do you have any special interests such as bird watching, architecture, industrial heritage, royal homes and buildings, walking, cycling or swimming?
 
Do you wish to take an active role in the boat handling ie steering and helping at locks?  
 
Do you have any special dietary needs?
 
Do you have any physical restrictions you think we should know about?
 
Once you have answered the above questions, simply email or phone us and we'll be happy to prepare and send you a proposed itinerary which will give a realistic idea of distance to be travelled, places of interest on the route, overnight stopping places etc. Click HERE for an example of such an itinerary.
 
After viewing the proposed itinerary, let us know if you are happy with it or if you'd like us to amend it or offer an alternative.
 
We'll also be happy to help organise travelling to and from the boat or parking if required.
 
Once you are happy with the itinerary and wish to proceed, we will confirm all details and ask for a deposit, the balance being payable at the start of the cruise. 
 
When your deposit is received we'll confirm your booking and contact you again a week or so before the cruise to make final arrangements.
